Print a long screenshot without making the text tiny
A scrolling screenshot can be many times taller than a sheet of paper. Fitting that entire image to one PDF page often makes chat messages, receipt items or webpage text too small to read. This tool fits the image to the printable width and divides its height into successive pages.
For example, a tall order confirmation can become several A4 pages while retaining a readable width. The same process works for captured instructions, conversation screenshots, transaction lists or long receipts. The tool accepts an existing image; it does not visit websites, sign in to accounts or capture a scrolling page for you.
Select the paper that you will actually print on. Margins range from 0 to 40 mm, and overlap from 0 to 20 mm. Zero margins can place content outside a printer’s printable area, so use margins suited to your device. Landscape pages have less vertical space and can produce more sheets.
Smart page breaks still need a visual check
Smart mode examines a reduced analysis image and prefers low-contrast rows within the final 15% of each proposed page. Blank spaces between messages or paragraphs often work well. It does not recognise sentences, table cells or chat bubbles, and a quiet row inside a photograph can also look like a possible break.
Use Previous page and Next page to inspect every cut. For a non-final page, change End row and press Apply page break to move the cut upward. The remaining pages are recalculated, retaining your earlier custom breaks. Later custom breaks are cleared to keep the new sequence consistent.
An overlap repeats source rows at the top of the next page. With zero overlap, every source row is included exactly once. Settings changes reset manual breaks. Use Reset page breaks to return to the current smart or fixed layout without replacing your screenshot.
Output quality, formats and limits
PNG encoding preserves the cropped page-image pixels without JPEG compression and is a useful starting point for small screenshot text. JPG encoding can reduce file size but may soften fine details. Neither option restores text that was already blurry or missing in the source.
PDF page images retain source width up to 4,096 pixels, with additional downsampling when browser canvas limits require it. A wider source is clearly marked before download. The page PNG export renders the complete current sheet at 150 PPI, including its margins and optional numbering.
One static image is supported at a time, up to 30 MB, 24 million pixels and 32,767 pixels per side. A layout can contain up to 100 pages, and combined embedded PDF page images must stay below 80 MB. If a large image fails on your device, split it or resize a copy first.
The resulting PDF contains images, so its text is not selectable, searchable or editable. Use Image & PDF to Text if you need an editable text transcription. For ordinary photos on separate pages, use JPG to PDF. Your source screenshot remains unchanged.
