Rotating the view versus saving a rotated PDF
A PDF viewer may offer a rotate-view command that only changes what you see during that session. Close the viewer or send the original document to someone else, and the pages may still appear sideways. This tool stores the chosen rotation in a new PDF, so compatible viewers open the saved pages with the correction applied.
Each control adds a 90-degree turn to the page’s existing rotation. Two right turns correct an upside-down sheet; four turns bring a page back to its original orientation. Use Reset changes before saving if you want to start again.
Mixed portrait and landscape documents
Scanned packs often mix portrait letters with landscape tables, receipts or diagrams. Rotate only the pages that are visibly wrong. A landscape page is not necessarily an error: its content may already read correctly.
Rotation changes page orientation and does not crop, stretch, compress or rasterise its content. Text and vector artwork remain in the PDF. For a scan assembled in the wrong sequence, use Reorder PDF Pages after fixing its orientation.
Review the downloaded document
Open the result and check text direction, page orientation and any interactive elements you rely on. Changes to a PDF can invalidate an existing digital signature. Password-protected documents must be saved as an editable, unprotected copy before this tool can process them.
The tool accepts one PDF at a time, with a limit of 150 MB and 1,000 pages. To remove accidental blanks rather than turn them, use Delete PDF Pages. Your source file is not overwritten.
