Remove blank or duplicate PDF pages
Scanner feeds can produce an empty back side after each sheet or insert duplicate pages when a job is restarted. Review the thumbnails, mark the unwanted sheets, and save a copy with only the pages you need. Blank-page detection is manual: the tool does not guess which pages are safe to remove.
The page labels refer to positions in the source document. They may differ from printed page numbers inside a report, particularly when it has a cover or introduction. Match the preview with the content before selecting a removal.
What stays in the new file
Remaining pages retain their page objects, existing rotation and content. The tool does not take screenshots of them, so selectable text and vector artwork are not deliberately converted into flattened images.
References elsewhere in a document can still point to deleted pages. Review bookmarks, contents lists, page links and form fields after saving. Removing a page does not automatically rewrite the printed table of contents or renumber existing text. You can add a fresh visible sequence with PDF Page Numbers.
Deleting a page is different from redacting information
Use this tool to choose which pages appear in the output. It is not a secure-redaction or metadata-sanitisation tool: other document objects, attachments, metadata or revisions can require separate review when confidentiality matters.
Your original file remains on your device, and all pages are kept until you save a new copy. Existing digital signatures may become invalid after editing. To retain selected pages as a separate extract instead, try Split PDF. To change their sequence, use Reorder PDF Pages.
